Why the hydro is hard to immerse during the navigation ?

Even if the drag is unsignificant, the lever arm multiplies the effort needed to immerse the hydro. That’s why we advise to use a 4:1 hoist to decuplate the strength. (available in « accessories ».
To reduce the efforts, it’s recommended to set up a low friction ring (supplied with the hydrogenerator pack) with a lark’s heat knot (on the leg, juste below the bracket).
The cam-cleat integrated on the bracket is used to block the ropes. To lock permanently, you can use the locking pin (supplied in the pack).
