When the hydrogenerator is running, if the converter displays 2 red flashes and/or the W&S app shows an orange screen with the message "Missing phase" => there is an issue on the 3 phases line between the hydrogenerator and the converter.
The 3 phases cable is highlighted in yellow on the following schematic :
The issue can come from :
- A damaged cable : check really carefully that the cable just outside of the hydrogenerator is not pinched, cut or damaged. Especially where it gets out of the aluminium leg. Some greenish color (verdigris) should alert you that the copper of the wires has been in contact with sea water.
- A bad contact in a connector : check first the outside transom connector if you have one onboard. Open completely the transom plug on the hydrogenerator side, to check that the wires are well tightened and the plug is 100% dry and without any corosion. If good, check it on the transom side too.
