HPU-03 pump firmware update

The HPU-03 hydraulic pump can be updated with a USB-B cable and a windows computer.

Please select one of the versions of firmware matching your hardware.

For the HPU-03 boxes equipped with a brushed motor : the current firmware version is 1.06

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

For the more recent HPU-03 equipped with a brushless motor, the current firmware version is 4.04. Depending on the hydrogenerator model, you might need the RS485 software to adjust parameters like maximum pressure after firmware update

 Firmware update steps :

• The pump must be powered during this operation
• plug the USB cable to the computer
• if needed please downloard the VCP drivers provided by FTDI
• retrieve the COM number assigned to the pump in Windows Devices Manager
• unzip the firmware files on desktop (otherwise it could lead to failure in case of specials characters in the DOS path of another folder)
• launch the .BAT file with double-clicking it
• enter the full name of serial port : example > "COM6"
• wait for the update
• in case of succes you will see a screen like below.

Known failures :

• if timeout message is displayed several times, it menas that the computer can not find the pump. It can happen if the COM number is wrong or not formatted as requested (= "COMxx") . Otherwise it could mean that the bootloader is corrupted : the device need to be reprogrammed in factory : please contact us.
