Racing systems monitoring

It is possible to monitor and log the data exchanged by converter and pump on their RS485 bus with provided software. Voltages, Current, RPM and hydraulic pressure can be displayed.

The link to the computer can be done with this adapter.

1) Plug the RS485 <-> USB adapter to the pump box, in parallel with the wires for the converter, with following color code :
- orange wire :    A ( = green wire from the converter )
- yellow wire :     B ( = grey wire from the converter )
all others conductors are not used.

2) The pump and converter have to be powered ON

3) Install the FTDI driver

4) Check the Port Com parameters

• Go in the "Device Manager"
• Find the Port Com of the RS485<->USB adapter - double click on it
• Go in the "Port Settings" Tab
• Click on "Advanced"
• In the window "Advanced Settings for COMxxx"  find the "Miscellaneous options"
• Uncheck the Checkbox "Serial Enumerator"
