A LOG consists of recording the operating data of the hydrogenerator and its converter.
It is mandatory to be sailing with the hydrogenerator in operation for a LOG to be usable.
- Recording a LOG from Watt and Sea application :
Step 1 :
Install and configure Watt & Sea application, find more information about this application in the article below https://support.wattandsea.com/hc/fr/articles/360009846140-Application-mobile
Verify that location services are enabled on the phone, find more information about this in the article below :
https://support.wattandsea.com/hc/en-us/articles/7334007032860-Enable-the-GPS-in-the-mobile-app
Step 2 :
Check that the hydrogenerator convert is switched on (light)
Activate bluetooth on your phone and open the Watt & Sea app to connect to the converter
Step 3 :
You can observe the voltage and current at the output of the hydrogenerator, as well as at the output of the converter on the battery side (2 battery outputs available).
Step 4 :
Click on "Settings" and verify the activation :
- Record Data
- GPS Speedometer
At this step, the application records data from converter in real time. No data is stored in the converter. The phone must therefore be connected to the convert when you want to record a LOG.
Step 5 :
A LOG must be done :
- While sailing
- Propulsion Engine OFF- so as not to distort the voltages and operation of the converter with engine alternator running
- With app launched on the phone
- With the hydrogenerator running (see relay)
Step 6 :
Once LOG be done, you can send it :
- Go to " history"
- Click on LOG and send it
