Material needed :
- Use a mini / micro USB cable to connect your converter to your windows computer :
- If serial number of convert si under or equal to 1630 -> use a mini USB
- if serial number of the converter is over 1630 -> use a micro USB
Step 1 :

Step 2 :
Download the following files :
- 10.1.3.1 - EN CV-03 box opening.pdf
- win64ftdidrivers.zip (this is the driver)
- win64CV-03diagtoolV2.0.9.zip (this is the program to communicate with the converter)
If update of the converter is needed, download the last update (currently CV03bis.3.13_HYDRO_12-24.hex).
Step 3 :
Unzip the files win64ftdidrivers.zip and win64CV-03diagtoolV2.0.9.zip
Step 4 :
Install the driver win64ftdidrivers from the unzipped file.
Step 5 :
Copy the CV03bis.3.13_HYDRO_12-24.hex unzipped on your desktop
Step 6 :
Open the converter by removing the white plastic cap following the instruction of the pdf 10.1.3.1 - EN CV-03 box opening.pdf.
Step 7 :
Launch the unzipped diagtool V2.0.9.
Step 8 :
With the converter connected to the batteries (12/24V), connect your computer to the converter using the mini/micro usb cable.
Step 9 :
New Serial Port should appear (usual name is « Port Com xxx »). Select it and click on « Connect ».
Step 10 :
The converter and your computer should then be able to communicate (it can take ~20s). You should be able to see values of voltage batteries, temperature of the converter, etc.
Step 11 :
Once the converter is connected, you can update the converter settings (in Settings – warning the voltage have to be modified in millivot mV) or switch to the Tab « Firmware »
Step 12 :
On the diagtool, go into « Firmware », drag and drop the CV03bis.3.13_HYDRO_12-24.hex file into the empty box available in the diagtool. Click on « Program ». It should take around 30 seconds maximum until it is written « Thank you ».
Step 13 :
You can disconnect your converter from the computer. The top plastic plate of the converter can be closed with a a slight amount of silicone (bathtub silicone) to ensure the watertightness. Reboot the converter by disconnecting/reconnecting it to the batteries and it is ready to go.
