Material needed :
- Battery drill with 4mm hexagonal screw bit
- Multimeter to mease frequency and AC voltage
Step 1 :
Connect the cables of the multimeter to two random phases of the three phases line at the end of the hydrogenerator. ( the red cable to one of the phases, the black cable to another phase). Move the unused last phase away to avoid any short circuit.
Step 2 :
Turn the generator shaft clockwise at a constant speed using the battery drill at a rather slow speed.( If you have 2 speeds on the battery drill, the max speed 1 will be fine)
Step 3 :
Measure the AC voltage.
Step 4 :
Maintain the same speed, and measure the frequency.
Step 5 :
Send us the two values.
